DISA issues Provisional Authorization for Splunk Cloud Fed

The Defense Information Systems Agency issued a two-year Provisional Authorization at Impact Level 5 for Unclassified Splunk Cloud Fed by Splunk Inc., Software as a Service hosted in Amazon Web Services Government Cloud.
The Splunk Cloud Fed is categorized as a moderate confidentiality, moderate integrity, and customer-defined availability system. The Splunk Cloud Fed architecture is based on the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) authorized, moderate baseline federal government community cloud solution.
The Splunk Cloud Fed boundary is specifically built out by Splunk for government and government contractors.
The DoD Provisional Authorization does not constitute endorsement by DISA or DoD of the suitability of the cloud service offering for any particular mission requirement.
This DoD Provisional Authorization expires August 6, 2023.
