DISA grants provisional authorization to CrowdStrike

The Defense Information Systems Agency granted a one-year Department of Defense provisional authorization at data Impact Level 4 to CrowdStrike, a DOD private cloud-native software as a service.

CrowdStrike is an authorized Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, FedRAMP, Moderate Impact baseline solution hosted in the Amazon Web Services Government Cloud. CrowdStrike’s endpoint protection platform is designed to stop breaches and secure critical areas of enterprise risk – endpoints, cloud workloads, identities, and data.

The DOD provisional authorization does not constitute endorsement by DISA or DOD of the suitability of the cloud service offering for any particular mission requirement.

This DOD provisional authorization expires March 24, 2023.
