Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA) Mobility Programs
DISA receives personnel from institutes of higher education, other federal, state, local, Indian tribal governments, or non-profit institutions, as Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA) employees. Those recruited through the IPA are senior technical experts or advisors in a specific skill or experience needed by the agency. These employees support various high-level information technology programs and projects while giving credence to our mission partner efforts through their industry recognized expertise and professional achievements. The IPA program is intended to facilitate cooperation between the federal government and non-federal entities through the temporary assignment of skilled personnel.
