DISA’s Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO) and Emerging Technology Directorate’s DISAWERX held DISA’s first data summit on June 7, 2023.

The primary goal of this event was to share DISA’s data mission with DISA workforce as well as for our DoD teammates from across the enterprise to come together, exchange ideas, and engage in data strategic initiatives. We believe that each member of the workforce including civilian, military, and contractor can contribute to DoD’s and DISA’s data mission and plays a role in effective data management.

The data summit featured the following DoD speakers:

• DoD Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office, Mr. Gregory Little
• Department of the Air Force, Lt Col William J. Parker III
• Joint Staff J6, Ms. Katherine Escobar
