DISA Global Field Command

Functions:

The DISA Global Field Command, headquartered at Scott Air Force Base with locations at Hill Air Force Base and three Operational Command organizations, directs and supervises the following:

• Operate, Defend and Sustain: Ensure mission assurance for enterprise infrastructure and services.
• Engineering Support: Provides engineering expertise for enterprise infrastructure and services.
• Provisioning and Implementation: Delivers and implements enterprise infrastructure and services.
• Training and Equipping: Trains, equips, supports and sustain the command personnel.
• Request Fulfillment Management: Manages the request fulfillment process for DISA's Center for Operations.
• Geographic Location Management: Maintains geographic location data to ensure accurate decision-making regarding services and circuit concentrations for DOD and other federal agencies.
• OPCON representation: Represent OPCON interests in cross-functional management meetings.
• Process Improvement: Implements industry best practices to streamline the request fulfillment process, maximize workforce effectiveness, and maintain mission goals.
• Personnel Administration: Administer military personnel functions including manpower, awards, and performance appraisals and evaluations.
